<p>The most important part of a good workout routine is taking action. You may have the greatest, most well balanced workout routine in front of you, but if you don&#8217;t use it and stick to it then you might as well throw it away. Another extremely important aspect to a good workout routine is knowledge. You need to know when to work out, the proper way to perform the workout at hand, and what needs to be done following your workout routine.</p>
<p><strong>When To Work Out</strong></p>
<p>This isn&#8217;t the most important aspect to a good workout routine, however it will definitely play a factor in the result that you achieve . A good time to work out is in the morning because it is going to force you to start burning calories sooner in the day. A lot of times if you put your workout off until later in the day, you will have more of a chance to make an excuse of why you don&#8217;t want to do it. You never want to workout immediately after a large meal. This could lead to discomfort and you will achieve much less results than if you did the same workout on an empty stomach. If your body doesn&#8217;t have food in your stomach it will be forced to find its energy source elsewhere, which will lead to it using your fat reserves to fuel your work out.</p>
<p><strong>Warming Up</strong></p>
<p>A good workout routine will always include a good warm up session. Focus primarily on the muscle groups that you will be using during your workout, but you still want to warm up your entire body. Make sure that you stretch properly and raise your heart rate slowly, as you don&#8217;t want to start an intense workout routine with tight muscles. Not properly stretching is the easiest way to cause your body to get injured especially when you are lifting weights.</p>
<p><strong>After Your Workout</strong></p>
<p>Another part to a good workout routine is a cool down period. Once your workout is finished, you want to allow your heart rate to slowly decrease and get back to a normal rate. You don&#8217;t want to just stop working out and go sit down or your body will be more susceptible to cramps, and un-comfort. Again just like part of your pre-workout routine, you will also need to be sure to properly stretch after your workout. Stretching post workout is the most ideal time to stretch because your muscles are already lose and warmed up. While stretching, try to hold each stretch for 10-20 seconds. You do not want to bounce, or pulse while stretching as it could lead to injury.</p>
<p>The foods you eat after your workout also play a vital role in your overall workout results. After a good workout  routine you want to try to eat things that are high in protein, or even have a protein shake so that your body can immediately start to rebuild and recover its fatigued muscles. After a good cardio session, you want to try to wait at least a half hour to eat so that your body can maximize fat burning by using its stored fat as an energy source.</p>
<p><strong>Other Tips To Get The Most Out Of A Good Workout Routine</strong></p>
<p>The most important thing you can do during a good workout routine, is stay hydrated. Not having enough fluids in your body can cause you to fatigue faster, get cramps, and prevent your body from getting the most out of your hard work. A rule of thumb is that if your workout lasts longer than 30 minutes you may want to include a sports drink to keep your body from starting to use your muscle as a source of energy, this typically will happen in a long run or other cardio exercise.</p>
<p>A good workout routine will also include plenty of rest. If you are doing moderately intense workout you can perform them more frequently than if you are doing extremely intense workouts. Your body need ample rest to recover and rebuild its muscles before you use them again to ensure your getting the most out of your workout.</p>

You need to ask yourself how long you are willing to set aside time and effort in order to do this workout system, what kind of results you would want and the exercises that you enjoy. For a superior workout, you need to keep a daily exercise log to set your goals for the day, keep track of your exercise routine, record your energy level, and whether there are specific areas that you want to work with later on. Repetition is also very important in a workout. Repetitions depend mostly on what your goal is; the ideal for beginners in to do three sets of ten repetitions per set, then work your way up to doing fifteen and then twenty. Twelve to twenty five reps per set is ideal if you are trying to add muscle mass while eight to fifteen reps is the best for sculpting your body.</p>
<p>You have to make sure that the maximum workout time should not exceed sixty minutes. You need to remember that exercising any longer will actually prevent your body from burning fat and gaining muscle. You have to make sure to take around one and a half minutes rest in between each set. The best personal workout plan is one that you will enjoy. <p>Asking, &#8220;Aren&#8217;t all workouts a fat loss workout routine?&#8221; may seem a stupid.  But you would be shocked to discover how many exercisers have the intention of burning fat with exercise by are NOT doing a workout designed for fat loss.  And while any type of exercise is better than no exercise as far as burning fat is concerned, all fat loss workout routines are not created equal.</p>
<p>How many of you done a workout program with the intention of losing fat and really fat the results you wanted?  Even when you do the workout as instructed, a lot of exercisers don&#8217;t get the fat loss results they were looking for.  So, if your goal is to lose fat, you need to make sure the fat loss workout routine really is designed to eliminate fat.</p>
<p>Your obvious next question might be, &#8220;Well, then what is the best fat loss workout routine?&#8221;  And I&#8217;m going to be honest with you.  There isn&#8217;t a single, all-purpose fat loss workout routine that works equally well for everyone.  But the good news is, there are specific workouts designed to burn fat that are very effective.  You just need to find the fat loss workout routine right for your goals, needs and personality and get busy completing the workouts as directed.</p>
<p>The first thing you need to do is look for a fat loss workout routine you will actually perform as instructed.  You only get the fat loss results if you stick with the fat loss workout long enough for it to work.  And you will only stick with the program long enough if it is something you like doing.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t expect miracles.  A good fat loss workout routine and healthy diet should burn about 2 pounds of fat a week.  (Although there are fat loss workout routines that burn off more fat than that safely.)  So, choose your fat loss workout routine wisely.</p>
<p>Look for a workout routine that you like, keeps you interested and one that you have all the equipment to perform the workout as instructed.  If you hate running&#8230; don&#8217;t pick a fat loss workout routine that focuses on running!  If you only have 30 minutes a day to work out&#8230; don&#8217;t choose a workout that requires 2 hours in the gym every day.</p>
<p>Things to look for when choosing a fat loss workout routine&#8230;</p>
<p>- The workout should be a combination of resistance training and energy system training (commonly known as &#8220;cardio&#8221;).  Aerobic only fat loss workout routines may work over the long term&#8230; but unless you want to be a Marathon runner a combination of weight training and &#8220;cardio&#8221; is best.</p>
<p>- Use Full Body Weight Training workouts.  The split workouts bodybuilders use can work, but you&#8217;ll need to spend HOURS in the gym.  So, if you want results in the shortest amount of time, look for a fat loss workout routine that works the entire body.  PLUS, full body workouts involve more muscles for completion&#8230; which means they burn more calories.</p>
<p>- Don&#8217;t just do &#8220;cardio&#8221; in your aerobic zone.  The cardio portion of your fat loss workout routine should be as intense as your fitness level allows.  If you want to get the fat off, you are going to have to get out of your comfort zone and FORCE your body to burn fat by pushing yourself.</p>
<p>When you are ready to start a fat loss workout routine:</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t just do any old workout and call it a fat loss workout routine.   In my experience, most workouts claiming to burn fat are just a &#8220;bodybuilding&#8221; workout in disguise.  And while bodybuilders are very successful at getting results, the average exercisers can&#8217;t spend the time required to get similar results.  More often than not, this is not the kind of fat loss workout routine that fits your needs, lifestyle or time restrains.</p>
<p>DO use a proven fat loss workout routine from a well known fitness expert.  They have already tested the fat loss workout routine with real people and have gotten real results.  Look for a fat loss workout routine from a trusted fitness professional or coach that has a combination of full body workouts, intense cardio and hopefully a nutrition guide as well.</p>
<p>Your best bet for success is using a fat loss workout routine ALREADY getting fantastic results, and that fits your goals, needs and personality. <p>I am frustrated with the info given out by most personal trainers. Honestly, they seem to use a cookie cutter workout program, which they believe will work for everyone. I think for a beginner, there is some value in having a personal trainer&#8230;I just think that once you get the basics down, you are better served to come out with your own workout program. Designing a workout program is actually much easier than most people think.</p>
<p><strong>Step number one: List your specific goals and chose a role model.</strong></p>
<p>If you are looking to lose bodyfat, then you are going to want to focus a lot of your workout program on cardio. If you are looking to gain muscle size, then it makes sense to spend a large percentage of your workout program focusing on lifting weights. I think it helps to find a role model. My personal role model is Brad Pitt in Fight Club. In that movie he is very lean and compact. I have developed my workout program in a way that maximizes fat loss, so 75% of my workout is on cardio and 25% lifting weights. This workout program allows me to maintain a very lean look year round.</p>
<p><strong>Step number two: Decide how much time you are going to devote to exercise.</strong></p>
<p>In designing your workout routine, you are going to have to figure out how many days you will be able to workout. Contrary to popular opinion, I think you do need to workout 4-5 days minimum to achieve great results. Many personal trainers have their clients perform workout programs 3 days per week. The body was meant to get daily exercise. The people in the best shape I know perform at least some exercise every day. If you have 7-8 total hours to devote to a workout program, you will get better results spreading those 8 hours over 6-7 days -vs.- having three 2-hour workouts. As an example&#8230;.Matthew McConaughey simply tries to work up a sweat for at least one hour every day. That is a simple technique that obviously gets great results.</p>
<p><strong>Step Three: Pick exercises that are right for you.</strong></p>
<p>What I typically see is the trainer taking every person through the exact same workout program, regardless of their body type. I also have head people complaining that a certain exercise hurts them. The problem is that the personal trainer simply can&#8217;t get into your head and know what the exercise feels like to you. For instance, I have a spinal injury so I have to avoid any type of crunch exercise in my workout program. Only you know how a certain exercise feels to you. I use a lot of dumbbells in my workout program, since I can really feel them working my muscle. If I was a personal trainer I would probably design workout programs for my clients using dumbbell exercises. This would be a big mistake, since many people get a better workout using barbells or machines.</p>
<p><strong>Step Four: Educate yourself about fitness.</strong></p>
<p>My advice is to educate yourself using the Internet and then come up with your own workout program that is perfect for you. Not only will you experience greater results, you will save time and money getting to your goals. There are several great resources online which will help you create your ideal body. Finding a really good e-book will cost less than the price of one session with a personal trainer. In no time flat you can easily design a solid workout program and fine tune it over time.</p>

<p>Shaun T is amazing and so is this highly intense in-home fitness program called Insanity. Beachbody, the company that produces other highly effective and popular home fitness workouts like P90X has done it again and this time takes it to another level of fitness. Let me just start off by saying that this program is NOT for beginners. Heck, even the warm-up about killed me off and I have done P90X 2 rounds! So, make sure that if you are considering this program that you are in good physical condition and are not just getting started on your fitness journey. <strong><strong>Insanity Workout Program Calendar</strong></strong></p>
<p>Insanity&#8217;s theme is to &#8220;Dig Deep&#8221; and &#8220;Get Fit or Get Out&#8221; which is really the darned truth! If you are not mentally and physically prepared for this program you need to be. Not only do you need to be in good health physically you also need to bring your A game when it comes to mental toughness. &#8220;Mind over Matter&#8221; is really so important in this workout program because there will be times that you want to quit because it is so challenging but put your mind to it and you CAN complete this program. Another thing that you need to be sure to remember is that it is OK to quit and take a break/rest. Even the participants on the DVD&#8217;s have to take a break so don&#8217;t worry about the fact that you need to stop and get some rest. Stop, get some water, catch your breathe and then get back in there.</p>

<p>The 60 day program begins with a FIT TEST on Day 1. Make sure that you complete this FIT TEST and make sure to record your initial results. This is a very effective way to measure your progress over the next 2 months so don&#8217;t skip this. It is a good workout in itself. The Fit Test includes a series of 7 moves of which you do as many as you can in 60 seconds. These include switch kicks, power jacks, power knees, power jumps, suicide jumps, push-up jacks, and finally low plank obliques. That is a lot kicks, jumps and power, huh? Write these down on the calendar that comes with your program and hang it near the place where you will be working out for ease of access.</p>
<p>The first month&#8217;s workouts include Cardio Circuit, Cardio Power and Resistance, Pure Cardio, Cardio Recovery, Cardio Abs. The first 30 days of the program&#8217;s workouts are only about 35-40 minutes long. You will workout 6 days a week with a rest day on your 7th day. I strongly recommend that you take that rest day and do nothing unless you want to do some light exercise. <strong><strong>Insanity Workout Program Calendar</strong></strong></p>
<p>Week 5 of the program is considered your &#8220;Recovery Week&#8221; which includes 6 days of a workout called Core Cardio and Balance. Don&#8217;t confuse yourself with &#8220;recovery&#8221; and it being easy because this workout still ensure that you feel a burn! It is not easy but it is less intense than the regular workouts! You will love this week because Month 2 is HARDCORE as Shaun T intensifies things up to a whole new level!</p>
<p>Month 2 workouts include: Max Cardio Conditioning; Max Intervals, Max Circuit, and Max Recovery. It also includes again Cardio Abs as well. These workouts are longer in duration up to about 55-60 minutes of hardcore workouts with amazing cardio intensity. During my first round of the Insanity workout program, I lost the most weight and inches and noticed the most results. Not that I didn&#8217;t in the first month because I did but you really work your tail off in Month 2.</p>
<p>If you really want the best results, you need to commit to BOTH the fitness routine and the Elite nutrition guide that comes with the program. I really enjoyed this nutrition program because it is higher in carbohydrates than the P90X food plan and you get to eat a lot of food! You WILL definitely need all of the energy you can get to make it though the workouts.</p>
<p>Overall, this is a great program if you are willing to work hard; eat right (follow the nutrition guide provided) and are mentally prepared to complete a program of this nature. Shaun T is a fantastic, motivating trainer and he has now become my favorite next to Tony Horton from P90X. I lost a total of 10 pounds and 10 inches during my first round of the Insanity workout program and I am looking forward to seeing what the 2nd round does for me this time.</p>
<p>As Shaun T says, Dig Deeper Ya&#8217;ll. Lets Go! You can do this program but be sure to order the entire program from Beachbody and save yourself the trouble. Don&#8217;t bootleg it or buy it from online stores like Amazon or eBay. Those are not LEGIT copies of the program and may or may not come with all of the DVD&#8217;s or the nutrition guide. Do yourself justice right off the bat and invest into your health. If you are not willing to invest 0 into your health, than it is not that important to you! <strong><strong>Insanity Workout Program Calendar</strong></strong></p>

As ESPN&#8217;s Lee Corso might say, &#8220;Not so fast my friend!&#8221; Cardio workout plans can be a lot of fun.  You just have to make them that way. There are many ways to make your cardio workouts fun.  First, you could do them with friends.  Make little competitions out of it.  This will tend to work better for the guys than it will the women, but anybody with a competitive spirit and a good cardio workout plan can benefit.  See who can get the most work done, or better yet, find ways to work out together.  Work harder to make everybody work harder. For instance, say you are doing a sprinting workout of some sort.  Try to get your sprints done faster than your parter so they can rest less, and it makes the workout harder for them than it is for you.  You could do the same thing in a cool circuit training cardio workout, or anything similar. The basic camaraderie can also make your cardio workout plans a lot of fun.  Don&#8217;t underestimate the bond that can be forged when people endure hard work together.  (If this wasn&#8217;t such a big deal, new members of the military wouldn&#8217;t build such camaraderie while being worked so hard in boot camp&#8230;think about it for a minute.) </script></div><p><strong>Shaun T Insanity VS the P90X Workout Program &#8211; Which One is Better?</strong></p>

<p>The P90X workout program used to be the one exercise program that everyone knew thanks to early morning and late night infomercials. Recently Beachbody added a new program to the game that to some may be considered a rival, that program is Shaun T Insanity.</p>
<p><strong>But which one is more intense?</strong></p>
<p>Comparably they are both equal in their own rights but each workout program focuses on a different approach towards fitness.</p>
<p>I have personally used both programs and this gives me the rare opportunity to offer a first hand look at both the P90X workout program and Shaun T Insanity. After this article you will be fully equipped with the answers you are looking for.</p>
<p><strong>Which works better? P90X or the Insanity workout?</strong></p>
<p>Great questions, though it&#8217;s hard to put both workout programs side by side as it&#8217;s not a simple apples to apples comparison but more like apples to oranges. Both programs are capable of offering a huge physical challenge but each has it&#8217;s own approach and it&#8217;s own target results. I&#8217;ll explain.</p>
<p>The P90X workout program is a 90 day system which could otherwise be considered an &#8220;at home boot camp&#8221;. You will need a chin up bar, a chair, a set of dumbbells and/or bands, shoes, plus about 1 hour to 1 hour and a half 6 days a week. The 7th day is an optional stretch or complete rest day.</p>
<p>From first hand experience I like to look at P90X as a &#8220;all-in-one&#8221; program. It is not designed to just bulk you up, it&#8217;s not going to just help you lose weight, it&#8217;s not just balance, and it&#8217;s not just cardio.</p>
<p>The P90X workout program just tosses a bit of everything into the equation. You lift heavy one day (or light if you want);, you&#8217;re punching and kicking with Kenpo karate another day, and to top it off on other days you will be doing 1 and a half hours of Yoga for a complete mind/ body/ soul adventure.</p>
<p>You will go through three phases of 1 month each in P90X with each month switching it up. Most of the cardio, stretch, and balance routines stay the same. The difference in each phase is that you change out the resistance workouts so that your muscles are constantly challenged so they will always be receptive to the workout rather than plateauing.</p>
<p>Shaun T Insanity takes a completely different approach. The workout program is 60-days in length and is based solely on Plyometrics, Core, and Cardio training. You will not lift weights, you will not do chin ups, you don&#8217;t need a chair, and the workouts range from 35-45 minutes the first phase to 1 hour and 15 minutes the second phase.</p>
<p>You will need very good shoes, preferably a mat to jump on, and near perfect form to avoid injury.</p>
<p><strong>You can already see that Shaun T Insanity is different than P90X so how are the comparable?</strong></p>
<p>The Insanity workout program, though shorter in length, is based on maximum effort Interval cardio. Meaning it&#8217;s all about fast, powerful, and coordinated moves. You will still be doing push-ups just like in P90X but otherwise you only use your body, gravity, and will power to push through.</p>
<p>I am telling you from personally experience, with Insanity you literally drip buckets of sweat, seriously! Just because it&#8217;s shorter than P90X doesn&#8217;t mean it&#8217;s not as intense.</p>
<p>You will not be running in one place for an hour, you are jumping around, squatting, balancing, and crunching your core. Shaun T Insanity is on the same level as P90X but the difference is you don&#8217;t need extra equipment, you won&#8217;t be lifting weights, and the workouts go by much faster.</p>
<p>Insanity is more for the leaner ripped look while P90X will allow for more muscle size and strength.</p>
<p>If you have already completed P90X then I will tell you this. Shaun T Insanity is like taking P90X Plyometrics, doubling the intensity, and doing it 6 days a week.</p>
<p><strong>So which one is better, P90X or Shaun T Insanity?</strong></p>
<p>I don&#8217;t think you will find one &#8220;better than the other&#8221; but what you will find are two different approaches towards fitness.</p>
<p>P90X is a longer 90 day program that has longer workouts but incorporates a slower pace compared to Insanity offering more time to adapt and become stronger. Also you are lifting weights so there is more potential to gain size and muscle definition.</p>
<p>Shaun T Insanity is 60 days with much shorter and faster pace workouts, you won&#8217;t be able to adapt as fast and you won&#8217;t get great results by pausing through each workout. Insanity is a balls to the walls style workout, it&#8217;s straight forward and fast but demands major motivation and energy.</p>
<p>Both workout programs have a &#8220;mix-it-up&#8221; style so each one changes things throughout the program so there is no monotony.</p>
<p>One final note, if you have knees or lower body joint issues, Insanity may not be for you. It is based on a lot of jumping and really can and will tax your knees and joints if not performed correctly. It is much higher impact compared to P90X. That is something to consider when looking at the two side by side.</p>
<p>Because of the approach Insanity takes I like to look at it this way. If you feel you are P90X capable and are in decent shape, if you can do push-ups, chin-ups, and if you can handle interval cardio, then either program is suitable.</p>
<p>If you cannot do some or all of the previously mentioned exercises then it&#8217;s better to avoid Insanity until you can at least complete P90X. Insanity is not a beginner workout, so if you just stepping back into the physical fitness game, throw the ego out, start somewhere small and build up.</p>
<p>So here&#8217;s the deal. At this point you should have an idea of which program is best for your situation. Personally I have used them both and have actually combined them for a hybrid style workout including weights and intense interval cardio. You should buy Shaun T Insanity workout for cardio strength while you should buy the P90X Workout if you want more muscular strength.</p>

<p>With all the workout programs out there to choose from&#8230; how do you determine if the workout program you choose to follow will be successful in producing long term physical improvements?</p>
<p>Quite frankly, if your idea of physical activity is getting off the couch to go to the kitchen during commercials&#8230; then any kind of training program whatsoever should produce some positive results.</p>
<p>At least in the beginning.</p>
<p>But when the novelty of the workout program wears off and the improvements start to become few and far between&#8230; most people just give up and return to the unhealthy lifestyle habits of before the workout program.</p>
<p>Choose your successful workout program wisely by adhering to these four criteria.</p>
<p>A successful workout program must be&#8230;</p>
<p>	1) effective in getting results<br />
	2) interesting enough to hold your attention<br />
	3) modifiable to your goals, needs, abilities and limitations<br />
	4) sustainable over time</p>
<p>If you follow a workout program that is not designed to improve performance and proven to get results, that is boring to the point that you don&#8217;t want to do it, that is a cookie-cutter program that does not specifically address your goals, needs, abilities and limitations and that is unsustainable over time&#8230; That workout program will ultimately FAIL to produce any long lasting physical benefits.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s look at these criteria a little closer&#8230;</p>
<p>Effective<br />
Nothing will stop you from continuing your workout program faster than failing to get the results you seek.</p>
<p>You train hard so that you can see, feel, experience, and enjoy the benefits of strength, conditioning and fitness improvement while applying those benefits to sport, work and life. </p>
<p>If your workout program does not provide this&#8230; what&#8217;s the point of doing it?</p>
<p>Interesting<br />
Let&#8217;s face it&#8230; most physical training workout programs are just plain boring.  </p>
<p>At first you are determined to succeed&#8230; then it becomes forced labor&#8230; then you are bored to tears with the thought of going through the workout program one more time&#8230; and finally you just quit all together.</p>
<p>And after all&#8230; you probably weren&#8217;t getting the results you wanted for all your hard work anyway!</p>
<p>And as we all know, any workout program is only effective if you actually do it.</p>
<p>If you are bored and disinterested&#8230; you will FAIL to reach your potential and meet your goals.</p>
<p>Modifiable<br />
Every individual has different goals, needs, abilities and limitations&#8230; And these factors must be reflected in the workout program for it to be successful.</p>
<p>A cookie-cutter type program that is not geared toward your specific success is doomed from the beginning.</p>
<p>In order to deliver long lasting physical improvements, the program you choose must be based on proven training principles&#8230; but also be modifiable to you.</p>
<p>A workout program that works for someone else might not work for you&#8230; and what works for you now might not work for you in the future.</p>
<p>Physical fitness success is a journey&#8230; not a destination.</p>
<p>Sustainable<br />
There are a lot of workout programs out there to choose from.</p>
<p>And some of them might actually work&#8230; for a while!</p>
<p>If you follow the workout program to the letter you will see some results&#8230; but will the prescribed workout program become a part of your lifestyle?</p>
<p>If not&#8230; the benefits will disappear as soon as you stop the workout program.</p>
<p>And if you are not going to enjoy long term benefits from all your hard work&#8230; is the workout program worth doing?</p>
<p>In order to discover a successful workout program you must find one that will become part of your lifestyle.</p>
<p>And as your goals, needs, abilities and limitations change over time&#8230; your workout program should also.</p>
<p>In conclusion<br />
When looking for a successful workout program&#8230; use your common sense.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t be fooled by pop culture hype, pretty fitness models, unrealistic claims and marketing tricks.</p>
<p>Ask yourself these questions&#8230;</p>
<p>Will that workout program really work for me?</p>
<p>Is that workout program interesting and diversified enough to become part of my lifestyle?</p>
<p>Is that workout program modifiable to my goals, needs, abilities and limitations?</p>
<p>Is that workout program sustainable over time?</p>

</script></div><p><strong>Muscle Building Workout Plans- 4 Things A Quality Workout Plan Should Have</strong></p>
<p>When your trying to build muscle strength and one of the most important aspects of the whole process are your <strong>muscle building workout plans</strong>.  You need to have a detailed and effective workout routine that you follow in order to get the best results.  I see a lot of people in the gym who want to get bigger and stronger but they just do random workouts without any plan.  This is because many beginners do not know that muscle building takes an effective workout regimen in order for it to work.</p>
<p>Truly effective muscle building workout plans that give you the best muscle gains have these 4 key components:</p>
<p>1.Warming up</p>
<p>The workout program should include warm up sessions. Warming up before weight lifting sessions helps gradually ease the muscles into the actual workout.</p>
<p>You can warm up using aerobics like riding stationary bicycles, using elliptical, calisthenics or some light lifting.</p>
<p>I usually do some light lifting and calisthenics before I do my heavy lifting workouts.  Muscle building workout plans they should include how long your warm up session should be and what techniques to use.</p>
<p>2. Stretching In Your Muscle Building Workout Plans</p>
<p>One of the most important parts of a good muscle building routine is stretching. By stretching I do not mean just cracking your back, and rotating your shoulders and your done. You need to stretch all your muscles completely with proper stretching techniques which your workout routine should include. Your workout plan should also  how to do each stretch and how to focus on your breathing. I recommend that you get into the habit of stretching once or twice a day, before, during and after your weight lifting sessions and on non training days.  I suggest you stretch once or twice per day because it keeps your muscle flexible and loose.</p>
<p>3.  The Actual Workout</p>
<p>Your workout routine should include main 4 factors for every muscle you wish to build:</p>
<p>A. How much you should lift</p>
<p>This all depends all your goals and you level of strength.  Your workout routine should help you sort this out and find the suitable weight to start off with.</p>
<p>B. How many repetitions to do</p>
<p>This will depend on how intense you wish the workout to be.  Typically if you are looking to build muscle strength and size you want to lift weights that only enable you to lift 3-6  repetitions in one set.  Your workout guide should show you how many to do for each muscle depending on what your muscle building goals are.</p>
<p>C. How Much Weight You Should Increase and When</p>
<p>To build muscle you must lift heavy and progressively.  As you improve your form and your strength increases you may add additional weight to your weight lifting routine to further challenge your muscles.  When you see that your strength and form have improved you want to then add additional weight to your routine typically 5 to 10 percent more.</p>
<p>Do not over do it though.  It is a gradual process,  Most quality muscle building workout plans will have you follow a progressive show you when it is ideal for you to increase your weight.One things for certain and that is that the more muscle strength and size you build, the more weight you need to stimulate more muscle increase.</p>
<p>4. Resting and Recovery</p>
<p>A good workout plan will tell you how long you should rest between sets and how long you should rest between workout sessions. This is usually based on your level of experience, the muscle you want developed and how intense your workout is.</p>
<p>If you are serious about building muscle I strongly encourage you to follow a good quality workout routine.  When I started working out I went to the gym and just tried to copy other people and mix it up with my own made up workouts and that was a huge waste of time.  I didn&#8217;t get good results and I only ended up limiting myself.  The best way to build muscle strength and size the right way is to follow muscle building workout plans.  Hope you found this useful.
