Does P90X work? A Real P90X Review

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend. I wanted to talk to day about the great p90x. I have talked about p90x before and how much I can’t stand Tony Horton, but today I wanted to discuss whether or not p90x is a scam. Once again I was watching the famed p90x commercial the other day and I was thinking about if it was even that good of workout. Because really, all you do is a bunch of different push ups and pull ups. It kinda seems like a prison workout. So I was thinking is it actually worth it.

No Yoga X for me!

3 payments of $39. That’s $120. The fact of the matter is that you can just download the worksheets and get all the exercises. You really don’t need the videos if you know how to do the exercises. Except for with the cardio, everything is pretty basic. As for the cardio workouts, they are ok. Kempo sucks, I would rather do Tae Bo any day. Plyometrics is great. I have to admit that the plyometrics video is great. The P90x yoga workout is quite possibly the worst thing I have ever done. Unless you are some Yoga junkie or you were born with the flexibility of gumby, you are not going to make it through yoga. I actually hurt myself trying some of those moves, and this is not the first time I did yoga.

The P90X Pace is what does it

What makes p90x stand out is the pace. The minute straight of push ups, then the minute of pull ups, then back to more push ups a t a different tangle, them more weird pull ups. That is what makes p90x stand out. The pace. Yes, you can download the worksheets and do the exercise on your own. I’s not brain surgery. But the pace that you go through the workout is incomparable. That’s why I like it. Even though at the end of the workout I want to knock Tony Horton out, it is still a great video. And I’m willing to do just about anything to get rid of my beer belly and man breast.

I am starting over on P90X. I was going at it pretty hard for a while, but fell off after the first month. I have been training for a marathon and I think P90X would be the best way to gain strngth and add to my success. All the running that I have been doing has been hard on my body, so I need to build my strength. For those of you who don’t have P90X yet, I would reccommend picking it up. Time to Find Out: Does P90X work?

In my effort to make a healthy lifestyle change, the first step was starting the infamous P90X system. Like so many others, I have been mesmerized by the P90X: Get ripped in 90 days infomercial on TV. After years of watching the infomercial, I finally broke down and purchased the videos. I have tried several different workout programs in my life, but I have decided to make an effort to complete P90X.

What is P90X Like?

So far I have completed the first 2 weeks of P90X. That is only the start, but for me, it is a great accomplishment. And I have to say, the commercial does not lie. Although I have not seen significant changes yet, I know that at the end of these 90 days from hell, it will be worth it. The hardest workouts so far have been Chest & Back, Plyometrics and Yoga. I have completed the enitre video each day, although I needed to hit the pause button a few times the first week. The worst part was P90X made me sick the first 2 days. But like my football coach once said, “if a workout makes you sick, that just means your working hard.”

So from here on out, I will chronicle my workout and let you know how it’s going. But no matter what, I will not give up on this.
